Noticeboard

Please note that with effect from 18 October 2018, the surgery will be moving to a new clinical system.  If you have any prescription requirements that you would normally be ordering the week up to that date, please can you order them now.

Once we are on the new system, we will be able to offer our patients the facility to book into the Dacorum Extended Access surgeries, which offer out of hours appointments weekday Mon-Fri and Sat am & pm and Sun am.  Details will be available from our Receptionists.

Woodhall Farm Medical Centre has a team of Doctors, Nurses and administration staff who are all dedicated to making sure patients get the best care and treatment possible. Below is a brief paragraph about each member of the team and what their role is within the practice.


Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Julie Francies (f)

Nurse Julie Francies has now taken over from Winnie as the main nurse at the surgery, offering all the services normally available.  Winnie will continue to work for the surgery on a part-time basis and will focus on medical research and will work with Julie to offer a full range of services to patients.

Julie can provide the following services:

  • Asthma and diabetic management clinic
  • Health promotion I.e. dietary advice
  • Immunisations both for children and travellers, advice on precautions when abroad
  • Cervical smears and breast examinations
  • Dressings and removal of sutures
  • Ear syringing and urine testing
  • Regular dressing of infected wounds if required
  • Regular checks and advice on how to lose weight and to provide leaflets for detection and prevention of other diseases
  • Advice on family planning and contraception
  • Stop smoking clinic
