You will need to have access to the internet and a login and password to request your prescriptions online. Please contact the Practice Manager to obtain a login and password.
Repeat Prescriptions
All repeat prescriptions must be requested at least 48 hours in advance excluding weekends and bank holidays. If your prescription is very urgent please speak to a member of staff.
Requests for repeat prescriptions will not be accepted over the telephone as mistakes can occur.
If you enclose a stamped addressed envelope, repeat prescriptions can be sent to you by post.
If you would like to collect your medication directly from one of the local pharmacies please indicate clearly which pharmacy you would like to collect your prescription from. If you have not used this service before please speak to a member of staff to see which pharmacies are available.
You can also order your repeat prescriptions online which saves time having to come into the practice to drop off your repeats list. In order to do this you will need to have access to the internet and also an email address. Please contact the practice to register, you will be given a username and password which will allow you access to the online system.
If you wish to see a copy of our repeat prescribing protocol, please ask at Reception.
Medication Reviews
Patients who have repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor or nurse practitioner at least once a year for a medication review. You will be asked to book your medication review on your repeat prescription. If you fail to book a medication review your medication may be stopped pending an assessment by the doctor.
